SCHEMES
Earn and Learn Scheme -
The main objective of the scheme is to develop a student as a multifaceted personality with academic excellence and a commitment to an egalitarian society. India lives in her villages and to bridge the gap between rural Bharat and urban India, this scheme is basically undertaken for the benefit of students coming from the rural areas, who are economically backward, intelligent and meritorious but cannot afford higher education, needy and financially hard pressed. It inculcates in the student the idea that no work is big or small and develops a work culture with the right aptitude.
Knowledge of computers, office machines such as photocopying etc. or even working at a telephone booth, while field work includes working in the garden, looking after newly planted trees, play grounds, cleanliness of the campus etc. Each student is expected to work for three hours (3) daily.
Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan -
This is a scheme introduced by the University to develop the confidence and personality of a lady student who comes from the rural areas and are deprived sections of society. The marginalization and deprivation is double if you are a woman and from the backward or scheduled castes. The main objective of this scheme is to develop a critical mind, self-confidence and a commitment to society. The lady students are given training in health, law, and social activities. They are also given training in self-employment and all possible other activities that enhance her social confidence. This scheme is open to all regular lady students from all the affiliated colleges / institutes. Funds for organizing these activities are provided by the University.
Nirbhaya Kanya Abhiyan Camp 2017-18
Considering the need of the hour, Savitribai Phule Pune University and Kr. V. N. Naik College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Nashik, organized a one day workshop on the personality development of girls’ students. Three different activities were organized as follows;
1) on 9th Dec. 2017, Dr. Manjusha Darade provided guidance on women's health and various ailments.
2) On 15th Jan. 2018, Dr. Asha Patil imparted lessons on personal development and self-reliance along with personality development to girls.
3) The third initiative was taken by Mrs. Anita Pagar (Social Worker, Nashik) gave detailed guidance to girls on various measures required to become Nirbhaya.
For the successful organization of the above activities Principal Dr. Shantaram Badgujar, Vice Principal Prof. Dilip Kute, Student Development Officer Prof. Sharad Kakad, Head of Girls’ Forum Prof. Vaishali Raut, Prof. Lina Mahajan, all teachers and non-teaching staff took efforts
Nirbhaya Kanya Abhiyan Camp 2018-19
Savitribai Phule Pune University and Kr. V. N. Naik College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Nashik, organised three different activities under Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan, the are as follows;
A) On 25th 2019, Hon. Ajay Jadhav trained the girls in karate for self-defense. 60 college girls participated in this training.
B) On 28th Jan 2019 Rajesh Birari gave detailed guidance to the girls on menstruation conceptions and misconceptions.
C) In the third lecture Mrs. Anita Kadam gave detailed guidance on various measures required for women to be fearless on the subject of women's protection.
For the successful organization of the above activities of Nirbhaya Kanya Abhiyan, Principal Dr. Shantaram Badgujar, Vice Principal Prof. Dilip Kute, Student Development Officer Prof. Sharad Kakad, Head of Student Forum Prof. Vaishali Raut, Prof. Lina Mahajan, all teachers and non-teaching staff took efforts.
Nirbhaya Kanya Abhiyan Workshop 2019-20
Kr. Vasantrao Narayanrao Naik Shikshan Sanstha's College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Nashik and Savitribai Phule Pune University Student Development Board condected a one day Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan workshop. The workshop was inaugurated by Hon'ble Madhuri Kangane (Superintendent of Police, Nashik). On this occasion, while guiding the girls, Sp Madhuri Kangane appealed girts to not to give opportunity to others to misbehave. In the second session, Adv. Gauri Patwardhan encouraged girls to maintain good mental and physical health for self-defense and gave several measures to learn it. In the last session, Ajay Jadhav, a karate instructor, trained the girls on how to protect themselves in times of crisis. Initially Student Development Officer Prof. Dr. Sharad Kakad clarified the objectives of the programmer through his introductory remarks. The program was chaired by Principal Dr. Shantaram Badgujar. The workshop was attended by girls students from Loknete Gopinathji Mundhe Engineering College, Bhosla College, Sanghvi College, Jawahar Education Society's Management and Research College Nashik. Certificates were awarded to the girls who attended at the closing ceremony of the workshop.

Student personality development camp
Savitribai Phule Pune University and Kr. V. N. Naik College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Nashik. On 9 Jan. 2018 organised a one day student personality development camp in the college campus. On this occasion, Shri. Vibhor Bothe guided the students regarding the competitive examination.
The second lecture in the student personality development camp was conducted by Prof. Prem Parmar. He guided the students on communication skills. In the third lecture, Mrs. Neha Khare gave information on personality development. 72 students participated in this camp. The principal of the college Dr. Shantaram Badgujar was present.

Disaster Management Training Workshop (22nd and 23rd January 2019)
Krantiveer Vasantrao Narayanrao Naik Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha's College of Arts, Commerce and Science and Savitribai Phule Pune University Pune, Board of College Development jointly organized a two-day Disaster Management Workshop on 22nd and 23rd January 2019 at 10.00 am. Nashik District Disaster Management Officer Hon. Prashantji Waghmare was the chief guest of the workshop. In the presence of Hon. Prabhakar Dhatrak (Vice President, K V N Naik SPS, Nashik) the workshop was inaugurated. Vice Principal Prof. Dilip Kute was also present for the workshop. At this time, Student Development Officer Prof. Sharad Kakad explained the purpose of the Disaster Management Workshop from his introductory remarks. During the the first session Hon. Prashantji Waghmare provided basic information on disaster management through PPT, explained to the students through interactive methods. He encouraged students to look at the disaster with a sense of social responsibility and guided them on what measures should be taken if such disaster is happening around them.
